Flappy Bird Creator To Release A Brand New Game on iOS Devices

According to Macrumors, Dong Nguyen – the creator of popular game Flappy Bird is all ready to introduce to iOS users a new game named Swing Copters. The game uses a big-eyed character with a pin wheel to help him fly over obstacles – the spinning hammers.

In Flappy Bird, users have to control the bird to fly and avoid the pipes. However, in this new game, the character needs to fly upward to stay away from the hammers.

It is very simple to play Swing Copters. All you have to do is touching the screen to control the boy. Nevertheless, the rule is quite strict as you have to restart all over again if you fail in just one attempt.

Swing Copters is reported to be available on iOS App Store on August 21, 2014.

The new number one in Apple’s App Store is a game called Splashy Fish. This brand new game was introduced as “the closest to the feeling like Flappy Bird” when you play it.

Splashy Fish

Plashy Fish was created by an Italian gamer genius Massimo Guareschi and it seems like he has come with one of the best. Even though it brings you the closest feeling to  Flappy Bird game which contains ‘flying’ fish, pipes, the fact is that you are supposed to play it underground and the ads are not terribly distracting.

This game is quite straightforward, all you have to do are tapping the screen to make the fish swim, avoiding obstacles and beating your friends’ scores. Some reports stated that the level of this game is somehow a little bit easier than the last version of Flappy Bird, it is somewhere between the pre and post-patch of Flappy Bird.

Flappy Bird Alternatives

This may sound frustrating but Plashy Fish is currently working on iOS devices only, I’m sorry that Android users can play it…for now at least.

Is this a good news for anyone who did not have a chance to try Flappy Bird? For you? Well…for those interested in this game, you can download it freely at Itunes App Store.
