Cool tip to imitate you someone’s voice

Isn’t it cool to sound like one of your friends and troll the “voice owner” by leaving weird messages?

In today’s tutorial, Audio Digital Guide will show you how to mimic someone else’s voice easily with the help of one of the most effective voice changer software recently – AV Voice Changer Software Diamond.

* Requirements
» Prepare a short recording of your friend’s voice
» Download AV Voice Changer Software Diamond
    (Installation guide for Win7 / Win8 / Vista)
» High-quality microphone for better recording quality

Step 1: Import the sample voice

– Run VCSD 8.0 >> Click Preferences on menu bar or Voice Comparator (1) icon on main panel.

– In the Comparator window , choose Add (2) to import a new voice

– When the Voice Import dialog box pop-ups:

– Click Browse (3) and choose the recording of the voice you want to imitate, then click Open.

– Name the sample voice in the Person textbox (4).

– Ex: Reachal’s voice

– Type the spoken phrase of the recording into the Phrase textbox (5). This is the text of the sample recording that you will repeat in the next step.

– Ex: What are you doing, Jackson?

– Click Import (6) to close the Voice Import dialog box.

Step 2: Compare your voice with target voice

In the Comparator dialog box:

– The new sample voice you have just imported will appear at the Voice section (7).

– Click the Record button (8) and speak into the microphone the text in the Phrase field.

Note:

– The recording process lasts in appropriate time and will stop automatically.

– Your voice should be clear and loud enough.

– You should start to speak right after hitting the Record button.

– Try to imitate the tone of the recording voice for best comparing performance.

– The comparison will immediately start after your recording is done. Check the result in the Similarity section.

– In the Similarity section, click the Auto button (9) to automatically select the best similar parameter to the voice sample.

– Click OK (10) to apply the settings and close the Comparator.

– The morpher settings will be applied into the Pitch and Timbre graph of Morpher module on main panel.

You can also manually adjust the Pitch & Timbre settings in the Morpher section, and also change the Advance tune to tune the output voice as your desire.

 

Step 3: Enhance output voice with Equalizer and Noise Reduction

In the Equalizer module at the bottom of main panel.- Click on Preset >> select Soft

Tip: In most cases, the Soft preset works well. But if it does not, try the other ones or load your own settings. You can click the Reset command to discard the changes made by the preset.

– Click Preferences on Menu bar >> Sound Quality or click on Sound Quality icon on main panel to call up Sound Quality module.

– Turn on the Limiter section (1) and the Noise Reduction section (2), then slightly adjust these parameters: Release, Attack, Reduction, and Threshold until the noise is less dominant.

Steps to take:

*** STEP 1: PREPARE ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER VOICE ***

Download Arnold Schwarzenegger’s preset voice from this page.

This voice will serve as the target voice to which your voice will be modulated by Voice Changer Software Diamond, we’ll refer to it as the sample voice.

*** STEP 2: OPEN VOICE CHANGER SOFTWARE DIAMOND COMPARATOR ***

– Run VCSD 8.0 >> Click Preferences on Menu bar or Voice Comparator (1) icon on Main panel.

*** STEP 3: IMPORT ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER VOICE IN COMPARATOR ***

In the Voice section, click the Add (2) button to open the Voice Import panel.

– Click on the Browse (3) button and choose the preset voice file you have just downloaded above.

– In the Person box(4), type in a name for this voice file as “Arnold Schwarzenegger”.

– Type what he says in the .WAV file into the Phrase field(5): “I know now why you cry, but it’s something I can never do.”

– Click the Import (6) button to save and close the Voice Import dialog box.

*** STEP 4: RECORD YOUR VOICE AND START VOICE COMPARISON ***

In the Voice Comparator dialog box:

– The new sample voice you have just added will appear at the Voice section (7).

*** STEP 6: REMOVE NOISE OF OUTPUT VOICE ***

If you feel that the output voice has background noise, follow this step to eliminate them. But firstly, you are recommended to save your current morphing settings, click the Save button on the Voice Morpher module on the main panel to save them. The saved file will keep all the settings that are being applied in VCSD.

– Click on Preferences on Menu bar >> Sound Quality.

– Turn on the Limiter (1) and Noise Reduction sections (2), then slightly adjust these parameters: Release, Attack, Reduction, and Threshold until the noise is less dominant.

Dubbing, or re-recording, is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production, in which additional or supplementary recording occurs after the original recording stage. The process includes automated dialogue replacement (ADR), also known as additional dialogue recording, in which the original actors re-record and synchronize audio segments. Music is frequently subject to the dubbing process in the post-editing stage of a film or TV show. The term “dubbing” most commonly refers to the replacement of the voices of the actors shown on the screen with those of different performers speaking another language.

How to Talk Like Santa Claus on This Christmas

STEP 1: BASIC VOICE CHANGING WITH THE PITCH AND TIMBRE GRAPH

– On the main panel,  turn on the Voice Morpher panel.

– Move the cursor (2) on the Pitch-Timbre graph (also called the Morpher graph) to change the voice.

– Because each voice is characterized on pitch and timbre, it would be better that you try more or less before decide which pitch and timbre parameter produces most Santa Clause sound-alike voice.

Personally, 61% Pitch and 87% Timbre successfully imitates the Santa Clause voice.

Note: It is recommended that you should turn on the Duplex button (3) to test how your voice sounds like.

Create 3D Subtitle To Your Video Clip

AV Video Morpher is an all-in-one home and commercial Movie editor. This tutorial will guide you the way to create 3D subtitles for video clips in AV Video Morpher.

STEP 1: OPEN YOUR VIDEO CLIP IN AV VIDEO MORPHER

– Start the program by clicking on the AV VOM icon on your desktop or go to Start >> All Programs >> AV Video Morpher. 
– In Video Morpher, select the Video tab (1) >> go to File Menu (2)>> Select Open File.

– In the Open window >> select a video clip >> Open.

STEP 2: APPLY THE 3D SUBTITLE EFFECT

– In the AV Effects panel on the right, look down to the Video Effects tree, find the Text group, and choose 3D Subtitles Editor (1).
>> Double click 3D Subtitles Editor to add it into the Effects to apply panel (on top) (2).
>> Make sure that both the checkboxes of 3D Subtitles Editor and Effects (3) to apply are all checked . This will allow you to see how the subtitles will be shown on your clip.

STEP 3: ENTER SUBTITLES FOR THE CLIP

– In the Effects to apply panel, right-click on 3D Subtitles Editor >> Select Properties…

– In the 3D Subtitles Editor Settings window>> Click on the Edit button to open the Subtitle viewer window.

– In Subtitle viewer >> Add subtitle content in the Text textbox, and specify the interval of each subtitle into the Time Start and Time End boxes>> Click on Add as New button
When you have added all the subtitles for the clip, click OK.
The table on top will show all the subtitles you have added for the clip.

STEP 4: MAKE FURTHER CHANGES ON THE APPEARANCE OF THE NEW SUBTITLES

– Return to the 3D Subtitles Editor Settings window >> Click on the Parameters button.

– In the Font Parameters window >> check on the 3D Font checkbox >> make adjustment on the Extrusion slider underneath to change how the 3D effect be on the subtitle.
Tip: This window also allows you to change the appearances of the subtitle, either font size, font type, font color, etc.
Make changes until you are pleased with the result. Click the Close button to close this window.

– Click Save as to save the new subtitle with all the settings you have just made. Click OK to close the settings window.

Your clip now has subtitles with 3D effect.
